Weekly Beach Blast – March 17

Dear Chamber Members,

The Pensacola Beach Visitor’s Information Center is taking the following steps to ensure the safety of potential visitors, businesses, residents, and our staff in response to COVID-19.
Beginning 3/17/2020, the Visitor Center will be closed to the public until further notice. For the time being, we will operate as a Virtual Chamber of Commerce. Our office will be closed to visitors, but staff is still working and will continue to provide information for businesses and the public through phone, social media and email. Staff will be working virtually from Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm.
Please feel free to contact us (850) 932-1500 or [email protected]
We are encouraging visitors to check for the latest updated information regarding COVID-19 at www.BeReadyEscambia.com.

Please be sure to fill out the Business Damage Assessment Survey at https://floridadisaster.biz/.
Results from this survey will be shared with state agencies and local partners. Surveys submitted by small businesses can be used to access the Small Business Administration’s Economic Injury Disaster Loan, made available for COVID-19 through the Coronavirus Preparedness and Response Supplemental Appropriations Act. For inquiries or assistance with the survey, businesses can contact Emergency Support Function 18 at [email protected].

Help Sea Turtles Thrive on Pensacola Beach!

It’s sea turtle nesting season again on Pensacola Beach, and if you’ve been lucky enough to witness firsthand the magic of watching a mother sea turtle laying her eggs in the sand, or the thrill of experiencing a nest hatching, you understand just how rare and precious this phenomenon is and why we need to do our very best to preserve it.
